Bunting - 30th June 2011

Bunting.... for a summer party in the garden, a childs room,
the kitchen,  or just to brighten up a dull corner.

Use applique to personalise the bunting (we have some
good ideas for re-usable 'Happy Birthday' bunting),
or make bunting for a special day (henparty?),
squares - triangles - or other shapes,

 - the possibilities are endless.

We were not able to schedule this before the Royal Wedding ... but we are sure that with summer only starting, there will be plenty of time to show off your bunting at a party or BBQ :-)

Bring your favorite fabrics or scraps you have left over - we supply white cotton fabric for the backing, bias binding and a lot of ideas on how to personlise your bunting.

Make a childs skirt (9/6/11)

Making clothes for children is great fun. Quirky fabric combinations, fun embelishments, and vibrant colours - but above all it is your way to express how much you care.

This workshop teaches you how to make a multi-tiered skirt - and how to repeat this for any different sizes you require and make a multitude of wonderful girlie skirts.

You will need to bring your own fabric(s), with or without Ric Rac or other trims or embelishments.
When you book we will email you details on fabric requirements.

Note : unlike most of our workshops, you may have to put the finishing touches to the skirt after the workshop. However, as usual, detailed notes will give you all the information you need to complete your project.
