Make a handbag

Come along to this workshop and make a stylish handbag. It could be a bag to give your metal frame purse a home(from our previous purse workshop), it could be a fantastic gift, but it will definitely be the envy of all your friends!

You'll be using a pattern to make a lined, pleated handbag. In order to help you complete the bag during the evening we will cut and fuse the interfacing to the lining for you prior to the workshop.  During this session we will teach you how to form pleats in fabric and also teach you the skill of adding a magnetic fastening snap to your project.  As usual all tools and materials needed for this course will be provided, including this week designer fabrics from Pat Bravo, Amy Butler and Kaffe Fasset!

Please Note: This is not a beginners workshop. You should already know how to use a sewing machine and be able to sew a straight seam before coming to class.
